Estonia Wild Swimming & Sauna Retreat
Overview
Escape to the heart of Southern Estonia and immerse yourself in a wild swimming retreat beside a pristine 10-meter-deep bog lake. Few people will ever experience swimming in Europe’s darkest waters – you will.
Every day offers the chance to swim in different lakes – from Europe’s darkest bog waters to crystal-clear forest lakes, relax in saunas, and connect with Estonia's untouched nature.
Stay in our experience accommodation, hidden in the forest and accessible only by a boardwalk across the peatland – a truly rare find. In the evenings, enjoy seasonal meals and local drinks, unwind by the fireplace, or gather in the lounge with fellow travelers.
Who is this trip for?
This retreat is for wild-swimming enthusiasts who want to spend several days immersed in water and sauna rituals with a like-minded group. Perfect for solo travelers or friends who want to join a small international community.
Accommodation – Experience Stay by the Bog Lake
All nights are spent at our experience accommodation, located directly on the shore of a bog lake.
Although you are surrounded by wilderness, you’ll enjoy the warmth of the lounge with a fireplace, a small bar, and freshly prepared meals by our chef.
Depending on the season, you may even gather wild herbs or berries, which will later appear on your plate.
Complement your meals with local craft cider, craft beers, or wine from Estonian vintners.
Evenings bring a chance to unwind in the floating bog sauna and hot tub, while mornings can begin with a refreshing dip in Europe’s darkest waters.
